Early lines here suggest that we have another candidate. Pittsburgh/Seton Hall. Pitt is ranked #4 in both the Coaches and AP polls. Currently I have Seton Hall being favored by 1. You can wait on it or jump on it immediately. I think that if it moves and Pitt becomes favored, Seton Hall is still the play here.

Interesting pick. This game opened up as a pick em. Curious, to know if non ranked favorites are based on opening lines or line movements. This game seems to fall in the middle since it opened as a pickem. I am not going to play this game but I am interested to see how this game turns out on your system.Best of luck.

I told a guy at work about this one, his reaction was exactly what I was looking for.
"Seton Hall! You're kidding, Pitt is good, they are like 4th ranked, why are they favored?"

classic square stuff, and all the convincing I needed.

Kojak, I once played a game when the line came out. Think it was Purdue/Indiana like a week or 2 ago. Ind was favored but by gametime Purdue was favored. The concensus that I got from most people was to watch the lines and then play around game time. Personally if I like something early I like to play it asap. Gonna leave that option up to each individual.

Right now the line has moved and it got Seton Hall at -2.

Green, just wondering. did what your friend said make you go with pit or hall?

Kaya,
I was already on Hall, but his square response was what I was looking for as more confirmation.

I love this system, although it doesn't hit 100%. Last Tuesday, #21 Florida was -4 vs. #9 Kentucky. Florida blew a double digit lead and lost outright.

On the other hand, on Saturday, #23 Providence was -6 vs. #18 Syracuse, and Providence won going away.

Looks like a good play. Last year at SH they wacked Pitt 73-61 and Pitt had 3 guys named Knight,Lett and Zavackas who aren't around now and have a date with UCONN next.Pickem to -2 looks like a lot of sharp money on the Pirates.

Well, didn't get the win last night. Sux! But you can't win them all. Brings the record to 15-7. Hitting at about 47%. Not sure what the percentage is for the lower ranked favorite vs. the higher ranked dog, though. I think it might be better. Looking to see what happens next.
